In Hawaii, more than 130,000 people are at risk of going hungry each year because they're unable to afford enough food to sustain themselves and their families. With the rising cost of living in Hawaii, the cost of food increases along with it. The majority of our shoppers are individuals who are experiencing difficulty in managing and maintaining the basic costs of living. Many are employed, some working multiple jobs in order to provide for their family.
